Boots, blue jeans, and a great cause—United Way of South Central Indiana is thrilled to celebrate the kickoff of our fall fund drive at the 4th Annual Blue Jean Ball on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 5–7:30 pm at Whippoorwill Hill.
This relaxed, fun-filled benefit event features

Dinner from Great White Smoke BBQ
Sundae bar from Bruster’s Ice Cream
Wine from Oliver Winery and beer from Upland Brewing Company
A silent auction and raffle featuring a variety of items to win.
All in support of programs that strengthen youth opportunity, financial security, and healthy communities across South Central Indiana.

In south central Indiana, nearly half of all families struggle to make ends meet, despite their hard work. Living paycheck to paycheck while hovering at or below the poverty line is a harsh reality for many families.
We’re rallying the community to help connect people to possibility and build greater financial stability for the future -- whether it is financial stability, access to food and shelter, or youth opportunities.
